Woman Fatally Stabbed in Oshawa; Suspect in Custody
On November 17, 2024, a woman was fatally stabbed in Oshawa. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. at a residence on Eulalie Avenue. Police from the Central East Division responded to a 9-1-1 call and found the victim with severe injuries. She was transported to a trauma center in Toronto, where she was pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as 48-year-old Parween Adel.
A suspect, identified as 41-year-old Hakim Adel, was arrested at the scene without incident. He has been charged with second-degree murder and is awaiting a bail hearing.
