Whitby Man Arrested in Oshawa for Drug Trafficking
A 33-year-old man from Whitby was arrested on March 3, 2025, in Oshawa, within a stolen vehicle. Officers from the Central East Division of the Durham Region Police Service found him in possession of various drugs during a routine patrol at a parking lot near Stevenson Road South and King Street West.
The man was identified as Scott Watson. According to the Durham Region Police, he was found with a substantial amount of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, Percocet, cash, and drug paraphernalia. Watson faces multiple charges including trafficking in Schedule I substances, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and failure to comply with a release order.
