Waterfront Trail Upgrades Approved by Clarington Council

The General Government Committee of Clarington has approved the Waterfront Trail upgrades, awarding the contract to Gray’s Landscaping & Snow Removal Inc. for a total bid amount of $499,853.79 (Net HST Rebate). The total project cost is estimated at $581,200.00, which includes construction, engineering design, and testing/inspection. Funding for the project will come from approved budget allocations, specifically $495,965 for paving the Waterfront Trail from Bowmanville Ave. to West Beach Road and $85,235 for the Bowmanville Creek Valley Trail from Baseline to Waterfront. The upgrades are expected to enhance the community's recreational infrastructure and improve connectivity along the waterfront.
