Waste Management Facilities in Brock and Scugog Closed Due to Power Outage
The waste management facilities in Brock and Scugog are currently closed due to a power outage, as announced by the Regional Municipality of Durham. This closure will remain in effect until power services are restored.
To accommodate residents during this time, temporary bins for household waste have been placed at three locations: the Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre, Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre, and Sunderland Memorial Arena.
Residents needing to dispose of waste are advised to utilize other waste management facilities available in Durham. For the latest updates and further details, residents can refer to the Durham Region's official website.
The Municipality is continually monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as necessary.
