Veteran's Square Naming and Renovation
The Municipality of Clarington has resolved to name the cenotaph and civic square outside the Municipal Administration Centre, located at 40 Temperance Street, Bowmanville, as "Veteran's Square." This decision aims to recognize and honor the contributions of local veterans. Additionally, staff have been directed to include the renovation of Veteran's Square in the budget considerations. The planned renovations will transform the area into an outdoor civic center suitable for public gatherings, events, and remembrance ceremonies.
