Upcoming Lane Restrictions on Brock Road in Pickering and Uxbridge

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced upcoming lane restrictions on Brock Road in the City of Pickering and Township of Uxbridge. The restrictions will be in effect from July 17 to October 23. The affected area is Brock Road (Regional Road 1) from north of Ninth Concession Road (Regional Road 5) to 200 metres north of Uxbridge Pickering Townline Road. Daily lane restrictions will be necessary to facilitate road rehabilitation, which includes culvert replacements, ditching, pulverizing of existing asphalt and granular base, placement of asphalt including paved shoulders, installation of new guide rail, and new pavement markings. Weather conditions and the contractor's schedule may affect the work timeline.
