Ulker Brand Products Recalled Due to Undeclared Allergens

The Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has announced a recall for specific Ulker brand products due to undeclared allergens, including egg, milk, and wheat. The products affected include Kekstra Mini (strawberry), Biskrem cocoa, and Rulokat.

The recalled product details are as follows:

  • Kekstra Mini (strawberry): Available in 150 g packages with UPC 8690766082307, marked with codes L07 EXP 04/2025 and L11 EXP 11/2025.

  • Biskrem cocoa: Sold in 300 g packages with UPC 8690504114628, labeled with codes L07 EXP 06/2025 and L09 EXP 09/2025.

  • Rulokat: Packaged in 170 g with UPC 8690766086473, carrying codes L03 EXP 03/2025, L05 EXP 05/2025, L09 EXP 09/2025, and L11 EXP 11/2025.

These products were distributed at various locations including Gulbay Turkish Bakery in Vaughan, ON and Marche Istanbul in Montréal, QC.

Individuals who are allergic to egg, milk, or wheat are advised not to consume the recalled products due to the risk of serious or life-threatening reactions. The CFIA encourages checking for remaining products in consumer homes and advises either discarding them or returning them to the place of purchase.

According to the CFIA, while they've initiated this recall after similar concerns were raised internationally, there have been no reported reactions related to these products in Canada.
