Two New Tennis Courts Open at South Courtice Arena
Two new tennis courts have opened at South Courtice Arena. The facility is undergoing additional upgrades, which will include a new accessible outdoor fitness area, paved walkways, and an updated multi-skills court featuring basketball key and hockey crease line paintings. Lighting for the courts is scheduled to be installed later this summer, but residents are welcome to use the courts starting this weekend. The outdoor fitness area is being funded in part by the Government of Canada Healthy Communities Initiative and will feature an accessible rubberized surface.
