Traffic Calming Strategies on Darlington Blvd. Discussed
During the General Government Committee meeting on June 22, 2020, a discussion was held regarding traffic calming strategies on Darlington Blvd. in Courtice. Councillor Jones moved a resolution, seconded by Councillor Neal, directing staff to report back at the Council Meeting on July 6, 2020 with recommendations for traffic calming measures. The proposed strategies include decreasing the speed limit to 40 km/h and blocking the entrance to Foxhunt Trail from Darlington Blvd. The resolution was carried.
