Thanksgiving Weekend Schedule for Clarington Services

Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13

Recreation facilities in Clarington will operate during their regularly scheduled hours. Programs will proceed as planned.
The Clarington Animal Shelter will be open for regular hours.

Monday, October 14

The Municipal Administrative Centre, Clarington Animal Shelter, and all recreation facilities will be closed.
Service requests and complaints will still be addressed. Municipal Law Enforcement Officers will be on duty throughout the long weekend. For after-hour emergencies, residents can call 905-433-1234.

Durham Region Transit will operate on a weekend schedule on October 14. The Customer Service Call Centre will be closed, but the On Demand Call Centre will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Residents are encouraged to plan their trips using the Transit App or by checking bus route schedules on DurhamRegionTransit.com.
