Temporary Detour for Routes 502 and 902 in Bowmanville

Durham Region Transit has announced a temporary detour for Routes 502 and 902 in Bowmanville due to a road closure on Simpson Avenue from Prince Street to Hobbs Drive. The detour will be in effect from Wednesday, November 6, 21:30, to Thursday, November 7, 2024, 06:00.

Route 502 and 902 Detour Details:

Both routes will operate via Prince Street, Simpson Avenue, Southway Avenue, and Liberty Avenue.
The following stop will be closed during the construction period: Stop #1498 – Simpson Avenue northbound @ King Street.

Alternative Stops:

Stop #3279 - Prince Street eastbound @ Simpson Avenue.
Stop #1499 - Prince Street eastbound @ Liberty Street (Lakeridge Health Bowmanville).

Temporary stops will be available on Bowmanville Avenue, north of King Street. Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly during this period.
