Temporary Detour for Durham Region Transit Routes 407, 411, and 421

Durham Region Transit has announced a temporary detour affecting Route 407 southbound trips, as well as Routes 411 and 421. This detour is scheduled for Sunday, October 6, from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The detour is due to road closures on Wentworth Street between Ritson Road and Wilson Road.

During this period, the affected routes will bypass the closed section by using Bloor Street and Wilson Road. As a result, the following stops will not be served:

• All stops on Ritson Road between Highway 401 and Wentworth Street.
• All stops on Wentworth Street between Ritson Road and Wilson Road.

Passengers can use the temporary stop located at Bloor Street eastbound at Ritson Road, east of Ritson Road, along the detour route.

Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and allow for extra travel time during the detour period.
