Temporary Closures Announced for Oshawa and Brock Waste Facilities

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced temporary closures for the Oshawa and Brock waste management facilities. These closures are to facilitate the installation of new scales.

Closure Details:

Oshawa Waste Management Facility: Located at 1640 Ritson Road North, Oshawa, this facility will be closed from October 19 to October 24. It is scheduled to reopen on October 25 at 8 a.m.
Brock Waste Management Facility: Situated at C22480 Brock Sideroad #17, Brock, this facility will be closed from October 31 to November 4. It is expected to reopen on November 5 at 8 a.m.

During these periods, residents are encouraged to delay their visits, make alternative arrangements, or use the Scugog Waste Management Facility located at 1623 Reach Street, Port Perry. For further information on the waste management facilities, including their operating hours and accepted materials, residents can visit the official Durham Region website.
