Suspect Arrested in Caesarea Shooting Case
On July 6, 2024, a 26-year-old male was shot at a residence in Caesarea, resulting in life-altering injuries. The incident occurred around 3:55 a.m. in the area of Summit Drive and Cedar Grove Drive. The victim was initially taken to a local hospital and later airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma center, where he remains in critical condition.
On November 21, 2024, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in Toronto, leading to the arrest of a suspect without incident. The suspect, Kwabena Duodu, 21, from Toronto, faces multiple charges including aggravated assault, forcible confinement, and firearm-related offenses. He is currently held for a bail hearing.
Two additional suspects have been identified and are in custody at a Toronto detention center. The investigation is ongoing, and police are seeking further information from the public.
