Suspect Arrested Following Firearm Incident in Whitby
A male suspect has been apprehended following an incident involving a firearm in Whitby. According to the Durham Region Police Service, the incident transpired at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, near the intersection of Dundas Street West and Frances Street.
The police report indicates that the suspect allegedly pointed a firearm at a victim and issued a threat to shoot. Before officers could arrive at the scene, the suspect fled. The police are currently investigating the matter further.
