Stabbing Incident on Oshawa Bike Path Under Investigation
A male is recovering after being robbed and stabbed while walking on a bike pathway in Oshawa.
On Friday, September 27, 2024, at approximately 10:15 p.m., members of the Central East Division responded to a report of a stabbing on the Oshawa Creek bike path, near Robson Street and Whiting Avenue. Two males were walking along the bike path when they were approached by a group of individuals. The group robbed the victims, resulting in one of them being assaulted and stabbed.
The first victim was transported to a trauma center in Toronto with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The second victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
The suspects fled the area before police arrived and remain at large.
