Son Charged in Death of 64-Year-Old Woman in Pickering
On December 1, 2024, a 64-year-old woman named Sheila Hercules was found with life-threatening injuries in Pickering. The incident occurred around 5:10 a.m. on Weyburn Square. Initial reports indicated a collision, but investigators later determined the injuries resulted from an assault. Her son, Aidan Hercules, aged 25, was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree murder. Sheila was transported to a trauma center in Toronto, where she was pronounced dead. Police have stated that no other suspects are being sought and there is no threat to public safety.
