Sole Source Agreement with Tablet Command for Mobile Data Terminals

The General Government Committee of Clarington approved a sole source agreement with Tablet Command for the supply, delivery, and installation of mobile data terminals (MDT) during their meeting on November 29, 2021. The total cost for this initiative is not to exceed $35,000, excluding tax. This amount includes the cost of the MDTs, iPads, and other necessary computer accessories. Funding for this project will be sourced from the Community Emergency Management Reserve Fund. The resolution was moved by Councillor Zwart and seconded by Councillor Anderson, and it was carried unanimously. The agreement is expected to enhance the operational efficiency of emergency services in Clarington.
