Snow Clearing on Highway 2 Discussed at General Government Committee

During the General Government Committee meeting on February 28, 2022, discussions were held regarding snow clearing on Highway 2 from Townline Road to Courtice Road. Councillor Neal moved a resolution directing staff to clear snow and ice from all sidewalks along this stretch of highway. This resolution was referred for further consideration. Subsequently, Mayor Foster moved to refer the resolution to staff to include it in the upcoming snow clearing report, which was carried. The committee also suspended the rules of procedure to allow for further discussion on the matter.
