Security Breach at Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant

On October 1, a security breach was identified at the Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant, affecting a limited part of its digital systems. The Regional Municipality of Durham reported that the affected system was isolated, and operations are continuing in auto or manual mode.
