Search Underway for Two Suspects After Officer Struck by Vehicle in Oshawa

Durham Regional Police Service is currently searching for two individuals following an incident in Oshawa. On March 21, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., an officer attempting an arrest was struck by a vehicle. The officer was part of Project Attire and was aiming to arrest a 31-year-old woman, Assia Ouadria, for violating her release conditions. The woman escaped to a white Mercedes, with an unidentified driver, who then reversed, dragging the officer and hitting a parked car before escaping the scene.
