Search Underway for Missing 92-Year-Old Male in Pickering

Police are searching for a 92-year-old male who has been reported missing from the Pickering area. On September 12, 2024, officers from the West Division responded to a call regarding a missing person after caregivers reported that he was missing from a retirement residence. The last known sighting of the individual was in the vicinity of Valley Farm Road and The Esplanade South in Pickering.

The missing person, identified as Kenneth, is described as follows:

  • Gender: Male
  • Ethnicity: White
  • Height: 6 feet
  • Build: Very thin
  • Hair: Grey, shoulder-length
  • Eyewear: Glasses
  • Facial hair: Beard

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a hoody with white inside the hood, dark grey sweatpants, and grey slippers. It is believed that he is using a walker.

A command post has been established at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex, located at 1867 Valley Farm Road, to assist in the search efforts.
