Scheduled Turn-Lane Closures on Kingston Road in Pickering

The Region of Durham has advised that turn lanes on Kingston Road (Regional Road 2) in Pickering will be closed to accommodate construction activities. Starting April 14 and running through July 31, the closures will impact lanes for vehicles turning south onto Walnut Lane. Main thoroughfare lanes will continue to be operational to allow east-west traffic flow.

The closure is part of infrastructure enhancements that require the installation of a watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer on Walnut Lane. Drivers should expect additional turn-lane restrictions as work progresses.
