Route 905C Detour Announced Due to Water Street Construction

Durham Region Transit has announced a temporary detour for Route 905C due to road construction on Water Street. The detour will be in effect from Monday, October 28, 2024, at 6:00 AM until Friday, November 1, 2024, at 5:00 PM. During this period, Route 905C will bypass the Port Perry Terminal and instead travel via Scugog Street and Simcoe Street.

The following bus stops will not be served during the detour:

• Stop #2512 (Scugog Street eastbound at Simcoe Street)
• Stop #93106 (Scugog Street eastbound at High Street)
• Stop #2503 (Scugog Street westbound at Simcoe Street)
• Stop #2491 (Curts Street eastbound at Port Perry Terminal)

Temporary stops will be available at:

• Simcoe Street northbound at Shanly Street, south of Shanly Street
• Simcoe Street southbound at Scugog Street, north of Scugog Street

Passengers are advised to plan their routes accordingly during this period.
