Route 905B Detour for Remembrance Day Service

Durham Region Transit has announced a temporary detour for Route 905B due to road closures for a Remembrance Day service. The detour will be in effect on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Northbound Detour:

• Buses departing from Whitby Station at 8:49 AM and 10:19 AM will reroute via Second Avenue, Dominion Street, Main Street North, Toronto Street North, and King Street West.

Southbound Detour:

• Buses departing Railway Street southbound at Albert Street at 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM will reroute via Albert Street, Toronto Street North, Dominion Street, and Second Avenue.

These adjustments are necessary to accommodate the Remembrance Day service and ensure the safety of participants and transit users. Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly during this period.
