Route 419 Detour Due to Ritson Road Closure

Durham Region Transit has announced a detour for Route 419 due to road closures on Ritson Road between Britannia Avenue and Conlin Road. The detour will be in effect from Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 7:00 AM until Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

During this period, Route 419 will bypass the closed section by using Conlin Road and Bridle Road. As a result, the following stops will not be served:

All stops on Britannia Avenue between Ritson Road and Bridle Road.
All stops on Ritson Road between Britannia Avenue and Conlin Road.

Passengers can use the following temporary stops along the detour route:

Bridle Road northbound and southbound at Conlin Road, north of Conlin Road.
Britannia Avenue westbound at Bridle Avenue, west of Bridle Avenue.

Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and check for updates from Durham Region Transit.
