Route 407 Detour Announced Due to Wilson Road Closure

Durham Region Transit has announced a temporary detour for Route 407 due to a road closure on Wilson Road between Dean Avenue and Bloor Street. The detour will be in effect from Monday, November 4 to Friday, November 8, starting at 19:00 each day.

Northbound buses will operate via Bloor Street, Harmony Road, Olive Avenue, and Wilson Road. As a result of this detour, several bus stops will be temporarily closed during the construction period:

  • Stop #1063 - Bloor Street eastbound at Wilson Road (east side stop)
  • Stop #1084 - Bloor Street westbound at Holland Street
  • Stop #1064 - Bloor Street eastbound at Farewell Street
  • Stop #1083 - Bloor Street westbound at Farewell Street

Passengers are advised to plan their routes accordingly and check for updates from Durham Region Transit for any changes to the schedule or detour routes.
