Route 302 Detour for Whitby Remembrance Day Service

Durham Region Transit has announced a detour for Route 302 due to road closures in Whitby for the Remembrance Day service. The detour will be in effect on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

During this period, Route 302 will operate via Burns Street, Garden Street, and Mary Street. The following stops will be closed:

• All stops on Brock Street between Mary Street and Burns Street.
• Stop #210 - Brock Street southbound at Mary Street.

Temporary stops will be available at:

• Mary Street westbound and eastbound, east of Brock Street.
• Mary Street westbound at Garden Street, west of Garden Street.
• Garden Street southbound, south of Mary Street.
• Garden Street south and northbound at Dundas Street.

All stops along the detour route will be served.
