Road Rehabilitation on Brock Road in Pickering and Uxbridge

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced road rehabilitation work on Brock Road (Regional Road 1) in the City of Pickering and the Township of Uxbridge. The project will cover the area from north of Ninth Concession Road (Regional Road 5) to 200 metres north of Uxbridge Pickering Townline.

The work will include pulverizing the existing asphalt, replacing culverts, placing Granular A material, ditching, and placing new asphalt, including paved shoulders. Additionally, new guide rails and pavement markings will be installed.

The contractor, Brennan Paving, is scheduled to start the work on July 22 and aims to complete it by October 23.
