Road Closures Set for Maplefest in Downtown Bowmanville on May 4

Event organizers have announced that several roads in Historic Downtown Bowmanville will be closed on Saturday, May 4, 2024, for Maplefest. The roads affected are King Street from Scugog Street to George Street, Division Street from Church Street to King Street, Temperance Street from Church Street to King Street, and Silver Street from Church Street to King Street.

According to the organizers, these closures will be in effect for the duration of Maplefest to allow for festival activities. Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes and parking, as vehicles parked on the closed streets during the closure period may be towed. Organizers state that normal traffic is expected to resume after the event concludes on Saturday.
