Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced a road closure at the intersection of Thickson Road South (Regional Road 26) and Tricont Avenue in Whitby.
When: The closure is scheduled for Saturday, September 14. The timeline may be affected by unfavorable weather conditions.
Where: Thickson Road South will be closed at Tricont Avenue, which will restrict access to Tricont Avenue. However, the southbound lane on Thickson Road South will remain open between Victoria Street and Wentworth Street.
Why: The closure is necessary to complete asphalt paving operations.
