Review of Site Alteration By-law in Clarington

During the General Government Committee meeting on November 6, 2023, a resolution was passed regarding the review of the Clarington Site Alteration By-law. The committee resolved that staff from the Legislative Services and Planning and Infrastructure Services Departments conduct a public consultation on proposed changes to the by-law. Following the consultations, staff will report back to the Council with a new draft by-law intended to replace the existing one. This decision aims to address potential impacts on property development and environmental conservation in the area.
