Return to In-Person Council and Standing Committee Meetings

On March 21, 2022, the General Government Committee discussed the report titled 'Return to Council Chambers for Council and Standing Committee Meetings' (Report LGS-006-22). The committee resolved to continue the practice of rotating the Chair during meetings. The Chair will move to the main desk when in Council Chambers, and the Chair may participate virtually. Additionally, staff were directed to provide an amendment to the Procedural By-law as appropriate based on these decisions. The resolution was moved by Councillor Neal and seconded by Councillor Zwart, and it was carried.
