Public Information Centre Scheduled for High Street and O'Dell Street Reconstruction

The Municipality of Clarington will hold a Public Information Centre (PIC) on January 30, 2024, from 7 to 9 p.m. The purpose of the PIC is to provide residents with information regarding the upcoming reconstruction of High Street and O'Dell Street in Bowmanville. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the project, view the proposed design, and provide feedback. The reconstruction is scheduled to begin the week of July 29, 2024, and is expected to take approximately 12 weeks to complete, pending Council approval. The project aims to address the end of service life for both roads and will include the replacement of existing sanitary sewers and water mains, as well as road urbanization and drainage improvements. Access to properties will be maintained during construction, with a temporary water supply system in place for affected homes.
