Public Information Centre on Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station Plan for the Beaverton Employment Area

The Regional Municipality of Durham is holding a virtual Public Information Centre (PIC) regarding the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study for the sanitary sewage servicing needs of the Beaverton Employment Area in the Township of Brock. The presentation will be accessible online from July 25 to September 23 at durham.ca/BeavertonSSPS. Public consultation is a critical component of the Municipal Class EA process, and feedback will be considered in determining a preferred sanitary servicing plan for the vacant and privately serviced land within the Beaverton Employment Area. The PIC will include a project overview of the Beaverton Employment Area Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station (SSPS) Municipal Class EA, an evaluation of alternative solutions, direction on providing feedback, and information on next steps in the process.
