Proposal to Extend Sidewalk on Scugog Street
The General Government Committee of Clarington, during its meeting on September 11, 2023, discussed traffic speeds and pedestrian crossings on Scugog Street. A resolution was passed to direct staff to prepare a proposal for extending the sidewalk on the west side of Scugog Street between Rehder Avenue and Wellington Street. This proposal will include consultation with adjacent property owners. The decision aims to address pedestrian safety and improve traffic flow in the area.
