Port Granby Project Update from Canadian Nuclear Laboratories

Mitch Conan and Shernette Muccuth Henry from Canadian Nuclear Laboratories provided an update on the Port Granby Project during the General Government Committee meeting on December 4, 2023. The project is currently in phase 3, which includes environmental monitoring and ongoing safety measures. Conan presented slides that depicted the site storage mound, the wastewater treatment plant, and the restored legacy waste site. He also discussed the evolution of the public information program and addressed questions from committee members.
