Police Seek Two Suspects Following Oshawa Shooting
On October 22, 2024, at approximately 8:40 p.m., police responded to a shooting in a residential area near Oxford Street and Wentworth Street West in Oshawa. Two male suspects were observed fleeing the scene after gunshots were reported. Upon arrival, officers found multiple shell casings but no reported injuries.
The first suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black hoodie and black pants. The second suspect is described as a male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a black and white ski mask, black hoodie, and black pants.
Authorities are seeking assistance from the public. Anyone with cell phone, dashcam, or surveillance footage, or any information related to this incident, is encouraged to contact the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Branch.
Anonymous tips can be submitted to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers, and tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward. The investigation is ongoing, and the allegations have not yet been proven in court.
