Police Seek Suspects in Bowmanville Convenience Store Robbery
Police are currently seeking two individuals in connection with a robbery at a convenience store in Bowmanville. The incident occurred on October 9, 2024, at approximately 2:20 a.m. at the Circle K store located at 180 King Street East. Two males entered the store and attempted to take cash from the register. When unsuccessful, they coerced an employee to open cabinets containing lottery tickets and cigarettes. Both suspects left the scene before police arrived.
The first suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’6” tall, aged between 20 and 30, with a heavy build. He was wearing a black balaclava mask, a black and blue sweater, and gray jogging pants. The second suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’8” tall, aged between 20 and 30, with a slender build. He was wearing a black balaclava mask, a black winter coat, gray jogging pants, and brown shoes.
