Police Seek Suspects in Armed Robbery at Garo Jewellers in Pickering
Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Garo Jewellers, located at 1792 Liverpool Road in Pickering, on August 1, 2024, at approximately 5:50 p.m.
Two male suspects entered the store and threatened the owner while brandishing a knife. They stole a significant amount of jewellery and fled the scene in a grey Honda CRV.
Descriptions of the suspects are as follows:
- Suspect 1: Male, Brown, 20-30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall.
- Suspect 2: Male, Black, 20-25 years old, approximately 6 feet tall.
The police are urging anyone with cellphone, dashcam, or surveillance footage, or any information regarding this incident, to come forward. Information can be directed to Det. This incident is currently under investigation, and the allegations have yet to be proven in court.
