Police Seek Suspect in Clarington Gas Station Armed Robbery
The Durham Regional Police Service is seeking assistance in locating a male suspect involved in an armed robbery at a gas station in Clarington.
On September 16, 2024, at approximately 10:10 p.m., police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Esso Gas Station located at 1451 Regional Highway 2. According to police reports, a male entered the gas station and threatened an employee with a knife while demanding cash. The suspect fled the scene when additional patrons entered the store.
The employee did not sustain any physical injuries during the incident.
The suspect is described as follows:
- Gender: Male
- Ethnicity: White
- Age: Approximately 20-25 years
- Height: 5’10”
- Hair: Blonde
- Build: Average
- Clothing: Dark-colored face mask, black shirt, red and black pants, and black shoes.
