Police Seek Public Help in Clarington Graffiti Case

On November 28, 2024, Durham Regional Police responded to a report of racist graffiti at a bus stop located at Roenigk Drive and King Street West in Clarington. Officers found racist language painted in various locations at the site. The police are seeking assistance from the public to identify the individual responsible for this act.

The authorities have requested that anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area, or who has cell phone, dashcam, or surveillance footage related to the incident, contact the Durham Regional Police at 1-888-579-1520.

The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) collaborates with its Diversity Advisory Committee to address issues affecting diverse communities in the region. They encourage anyone with information to reach out, and anonymous tips can be submitted to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca, where tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward.
