Police Seek Public Assistance in Locating Wanted Individual

Police are actively searching for a 46-year-old male named David Lewis, who is wanted on a Warrant of Committal. Lewis was last seen around 12:50 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2024, at Ontario Shores, located at 700 Gordon Street in Whitby. Authorities have indicated that Lewis requires medication, and there are concerns that his condition may worsen without it.

Lewis is described as a Black male, standing 6 feet 4 inches tall, with a heavy build and black hair. At the time of his last sighting, he was wearing a black toque, black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, beige/green camouflage pants, and black/grey shoes.

The police have advised the public not to approach Lewis if seen, but to contact law enforcement immediately. A photo of Lewis is available on the Durham Region Police Service website.
