Police Search for Missing Elderly Man in Whitby

Police are searching for a 77-year-old male reported missing from Whitby. On September 27, 2024, officers from Central West Division responded to a call at the Real Canadian Superstore at 200 Taunton Road West. The individual, named Antonio, was last seen between 2:55 p.m. and 3:25 p.m. at the store. He is believed to have left the area in a 2016 gun-metal grey Chevrolet Sonic Sedan with Ontario license plate CWTS054. Antonio, who suffers from dementia, has not driven in many years. Police and his family are concerned for his well-being. Antonio is described as a white male, 5'7" tall, 150 lbs, with short brown and grey hair. He was last seen wearing a grey wool sweater, a green and blue dress shirt, navy blue pants, and brown shoes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the local police department or Durham Regional Crime Stoppers.
