Overview of the Ritson School Project

The Ritson School Project involves the redevelopment of the former elementary school located at 300 Ritson Road South, Oshawa, which was purchased by the Region of Durham from the Durham District School Board. The project aims to address the current and future needs of residents by providing affordable and market-rent housing, as well as community programming. An online survey is being conducted from August 1 to September 11 to gather input from residents regarding the public spaces that will be incorporated into the project. A virtual community engagement session was held on July 31, and a recording of this session will be made available for those interested in learning more about the project.
