Overview of the Beaverton Employment Area Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station Plan

The Regional Municipality of Durham is conducting a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study to address the sanitary sewage servicing needs for the Beaverton Employment Area located in the Township of Brock. A virtual Public Information Centre (PIC) is being held until September 23, which aims to provide updates on the project. The PIC will cover the following key areas: a project overview of the Beaverton Employment Area Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station (SSPS) Municipal Class EA, an evaluation of alternative solutions, information on the recommended solution, and guidance on how residents can provide feedback on the recommended solution. Additionally, the PIC will outline the next steps in the process. Comments received during this period will be taken into account when determining a preferred sanitary servicing plan for the vacant and privately serviced land within the Beaverton Employment Area. For further details, residents can view the presentation at durham.ca/BeavertonSSPS.
