Overnight Detour on Simcoe Street Between First and Bloor

Durham Region Transit has announced an overnight detour on Simcoe Street between First Street and Bloor Street due to construction. The detour will take place from 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 22, to 5:00 AM on Friday, August 23.

Routes affected include Pulse 901 and Route N2. Buses will detour via First Avenue, Ritson Road, and Bloor Street. Stops between First Street and Bloor Street will not be served during this time.

Affected stops are:

• Stop #666 – Simcoe Street southbound @ First Avenue
• Stop #667 – Simcoe Street southbound @ Bloor Street
• Stop #668 – Simcoe Street northbound @ Bloor Street
• Stop #669 – Simcoe Street northbound @ First Avenue

Passengers are advised to use the following stops on Simcoe Street, south of Bloor Street:

• Stop #3567 – Simcoe Street southbound @ Erie Street
• Stop #90015 – Simcoe Street northbound @ Conant Street

Temporary stops during the construction include:

• First Street westbound and eastbound @ Simcoe Street
• Stop #1089 (Bloor Street westbound @ Simcoe Street)
