Oshawa Resident Arrested for Break-ins at Local Businesses
Cecil Jackson, a 64-year-old resident of Oshawa, has been arrested in connection with two break-and-enter incidents at local businesses. According to a release by the Durham Region Police Service, the incidents took place on Monday, April 7, 2025, at businesses located on Bond Street West and Centre Street North.
Police reports indicate that the suspect forced entry by breaking the front doors and subsequently took various items. Jackson was apprehended without incident by the East Crime Team on April 9, 2025. He faces two charges of Break and Enter Commit – Business.
