Oshawa Man Arrested Following Stabbing Incident

On October 18, 2024, a 30-year-old male was arrested in Oshawa following two incidents, one of which involved a stabbing. The first incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. near Oxford Street and Wentworth Street West, where police found a victim with a stab wound. The victim was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect had fled before police arrived.

Later that day, at approximately 12:45 p.m., police responded to reports of a male with a knife in the same area. Officers located and arrested the suspect, who was identified as Jaleel Allen, age 30, from Oshawa. Allen faces charges including two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and assault causing bodily harm.

Allen was held for a bail hearing. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Central East Criminal Investigations Bureau.
