Oshawa Collision Leaves Passenger with Life-Altering Injuries
An adult passenger sustained life-altering injuries following a collision in Oshawa early on March 16, 2025. The accident involved a white Ford pickup truck that veered off the road and struck a tree in the vicinity of Wentworth Street and Forbes Street. Police from the Central East Division were on the scene after receiving reports around 5:30 a.m.
The injured individual, a female passenger, was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center. A male involved in the incident was also taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. As a result, nearby roads were temporarily closed to allow the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit to conduct an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
